The list below is not decoration: each entry is a real limit taken from a real form (job portals, visa applications, school registrations). If your limit is not listed, type it into the target field on this page — the engine is the same.

What “exact” means here

The encoder does not guess. It encodes, measures the byte count, narrows the quality range, and repeats until the result is within about 2% of your target and never above it. If quality alone cannot reach the target, it reduces dimensions — visible in the result row as a smaller width×height.

Batch is the default, not an add-on

Drop a folder and every supported image inside it is queued. Progress is per file, failures are retryable one by one, and the finished set downloads as a single ZIP that your browser builds — no server round trip, no upload quota.

How it works

1

Add images

Drop a file, several files, or a whole folder. Nothing is uploaded.

2

Set the spec

Pick the target from this page — it is already filled in for you.

3

Download

Exact-size output, or a ZIP when you came with a batch.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a file size limit?
25 MB and 24 megapixels per file, 200 files per run. Above that the browser starts to run out of memory on mobile, and a crash loses the whole queue.
Which formats can I feed it?
JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, BMP and GIF (first frame) decode natively. HEIC depends on the browser: Safari decodes it, Chrome does not — on Chrome, export the photo from your phone gallery as JPG first.
Does it work offline?
After the page has loaded, yes. There is no server call in the processing path, so you can cut the network and it keeps working — a quick way to prove that nothing is being uploaded.
What happens to my files?
Nothing is stored. The image is read into memory, re-encoded, and offered as a download. Close the tab and it is gone. No account, no history, no training data.
